 Verified I'm late in posting this review as I had the work done in mid-June this year. I could not be more pleased with the job. Alex was great to work with, very professional and responsive. Plus, he was a delight to work with, that made it an even better experience. And, the price was very reasonable, he quoted in advance and that was what I paid. Really great over-all.

 Verified I highly recommend AJ Paintmasters Plus for exterior house painting. I have a 2 story building in Novato with wood siding in which the old paint had large areas that were cracked and peeling. This was a difficult job because the house is located on a steep hillside. They spent a lot of time prepping, scraping, and sanding down to the bare wood where necessary. They also repaired the dry rot. The owners, Alex and Leslie, live locally. They are very knowledgeable and used the right high quality materials and supervised the crew.  They did an excellent job that I'm sure will last many years.

 Verified Our real estate agency recommended AJ Paintmaster. They offered a very competitive bid.  In addition Leslie helped us think through the paint colors that would work best for a property going up for sale. They did a great job and worked around the schedule of other contractors working on the house. I absolutely would use them again and now recommend them to everybody who comes by to see the "new house" Leslie was very responsive on email and it was very easy to work with Alex on site.  Verified I hired AJ PaintMasters Plus to paint the exterior of my Eichler home, and there are not enough superlatives to describe the outstanding results that Alex and his crew delivered. His employees were pleasant and professional throughout the process, and they took obvious pride in their work. Alex was often onsite, although his crews were were diligent with or without his presence. The time and effort they took on the preparation phase was particularly impressive, as my old house needed a lot of scraping, sanding, caulking, and dry rot remediation. They took special care to cover and tape off windows and ground covering for the main painting phase. Plus they took the time to return after all paint had dried for a final once-over, in which they spruced up tiny details that had escaped my notice. We feel like we live in a new home, and I highly recommend AJ PaintMasters Plus.

 Verified I couldn't stand the color of my house.  It was drab, it was dull, and I had a bad case of house shame every time I looked at it.  We looked at a variety of painters and finally decided on AJ Paintmasters and I'm so glad that we did.  Alex and his team did a beautiful job and they were so easy to work with.  Leslie patiently and expertly answered all of my questions and eased my many concerns.  Our house is now the happy, welcoming place I wanted it to be!  I can not recommend them highly enough.

 Verified 15 months later a response to a Yelp review.... Just as petty this time as the initial disrespect and rude offensive comments ( in Spanish) to my wife.... As the building housed "tenants" the quality of the work was slipshod, and there appears to be dual standards for "rentals" vs. "owner occupied" properties.  I feel qualified to assess this type of work as I am a NACE certified inspector having worked for the USAF worldwide.

 Verified I recently bought my first home and had the daunting task of having to remove the popcorn off my celings. I knew it would be priciey, but most importantly, I wanted to be confident that done correctly. I did my due diligence and received 2 other bids and hands down AJ was the bar far superior. I worked with Alex who called me when he said he'd call, showed up when he said he would and I felt that  Leslie,  Alex and Mike had my best interest at heart the entire time. The job was performed to perfection and I was touched that they went above and beyond to put new locks on my door which required an extra trip. Thank you AJ for making my first home project a positive one and I now know I have a trusted resource for all my future home improvement needs.
